What Do You Use for Vegetable Stock?

Homemade or Store Bought Vegetable Stock?
I wish that I could say that I ALWAYS make homemade stock, but sadly, I don’t. I could give you all kinds of excuses, and although stock made from scratch is so much better; store-bought, is easier to buy especially when you just don’t have time.
I’m fussy about store bought products. Bouillon cubes or powdered soup bases are usually loaded with so much sodium, don’t always taste good or it contains MSG. All things that don’t appeal to me!
I have to say, that blogging about this topic has certainly inspired me to MAKE MY OWN vegetable stock and freeze it! And I will post about it in the future, but for now, I want to share my find with you.
I needed a vegetable stock base for a recipe I was making and I found this Herbamare low sodium vegetable broth cube at my local grocery store!! And while it does contain sodium, it’s much less than others that I’ve compared it to and I’m okay with that.
There are many brands out there in liquid, powder or cube form. Be choosy! Look for ones with no MSG, ingredients that look familiar and please, check the sodium level.
