Sautéed Broccoli Rabe

A Few Words…

Broccoli Rabe is not usually a side dish in my house, but the display of them at the grocery was so enticing that I had to buy it!

It’s a great vegetable that’s not only loaded with vitamins A, C and K but also is full of beneficial minerals like calcium, folate and iron!

Easy to make and delicious to eat!

Sautéed Broccoli Rabe

  • 1 bunch broccoli rabe, cleaned and the tough, non-leafy stems cut off
  • 2-3 tbs. olive oil
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, cut in slices
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions: Coat a large sauté pan with olive oil and set the stove to medium heat. When the oil has warmed, add the garlic slices. When browned, add the broccoli rabe and toss until well coated with the oil and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until cooked and then transfer to a plate. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top of the greens and then some salt and pepper. Enjoy!!
