Every now and then I feel the need to nourish my body with healthy, no frill steamed veggies. And with this dish, trust me, you will feel so nourished and healthy!
I won’t even pretend that my husband and sons like this, BUT Tamara and I love it!!! You can use any vegetables you like, have it as a side dish or add some protein like tofu, tempeh, salmon, chicken or quinoa and have it as a meal!
Drizzle some sauce on top – and you’re good to go! I love these sauces and make extra to use during the week on regular salads as well.
Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Add water until desired consistency is reached. Store in Mason jar for about one week. If the sauce gets too thick, just thin it out with some warm water until until you get the desired consistency.

On the bottom of your bowl put 1/2 cup cooked rice, top with steamed vegetables and a protein source. Drizzle sauce on top and enjoy! Choose your favorite combinations and/or protein!
