How’s That Plan of Action Coming Along?

As far as I’m concerned, the weekend begins on Friday and that’s when I start figuring out my weekend activities. Activities = Food Prep!

Last week I posted my top 10 list of things that I do on the weekends in order to help me during the week. Did any of them resonate with you?

One of the things that I made last weekend was teeny mini muffins! They were not only cute, but delicious too. I used the Banana Choco Nut Muffins (you can find the recipe on my website), omitted the nuts (my kids don’t like nuts!) and baked them for 14 – 15 minutes. Although I made goody bags and shared my muffins, I made sure that I kept some for myself and had great snacks for the week!

Baby steps – you don’t have to do 10 things!! New habits will form when you take it slow. Pick one thing that you can and are willing to do and then repeat it. Before you know it, it will become second nature and that’s when you’ll want to add one more thing to your list. Do it on your terms when it feels right and pretty soon you’ve got this! Your own list and way of taking action for a healthy lifestyle.
