Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail.

So true!!! The key to success is to plan ahead. I know, on paper it sounds easy enough, but life gets in the way and we all have hectic schedules and work and family… I could go on and on. And that lunch that you were going to prepare in the morning – it didn’t happen. What about breakfast? What happens if you wake up late or someone needs you or it’s your carpool day or the car didn’t start?

I know, you forget breakfast or maybe you just grabbed something quick to eat on the go. Sound familiar?

STOP – right there. It doesn’t have to be this way. You are important and in order to eat a satisfying and healthy meal, YOU HAVE TO PLAN. If you realize that there’s no time in the morning to make your lunch, prep everything the night before so it’s done. Such a great habit to get in to and in no time you’ll be practicing it forever!

If I don’t eat breakfast, trust me, I’m no fun! I’m cranky ( to say the least lol) …ask my family! I alternate my breakfasts and although I love oatmeal and steel cut oats, I don’t always have enough time to cook it. Do you find that too? Here’s my solution: When I make steel cut oats I batch cook it for 4 meals, put them in individual portion sized containers and store them in my fridge to have during the week. That way you can just heat it up and eat it at home or take it with you. Breakfast – check:) Look how easy it can be – you’ve got this!
