Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats

A Few Words…

I love breakfast, it’s actually my favorite meal of the day!

I alternate breakfasts because I need a bit of variety. Some days I feel like having toast with peanut butter or topped with avocado,  but some days I need a little bit more to keep me feeling full until lunch.

Oatmeal is my go to meal! There are so many different ways to make it, and one of the easiest is overnight oatmeal!

Here’s one that I made the other day that was absolutely delicious and easy!

Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats

2 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (you can use your favorite non dairy milk or regular milk)
  • 1 apple grated or finely chopped
  • 1 tbs. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Ingredients:

  • Sliced apples
  • A pinch of chopped pecans or sliced almonds

Directions:
Add all of the ingredients in a medium sized container (I used a glass one) and mix so everything is combined. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

The next morning, put half of the recipe in a bowl and either eat it cold or warm it up in the microwave. Top the oats with sliced apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon or a sprinkle of your favorite nuts on top.
